What does SuperYacht of Rafa Nadal cost £2.3 million?

It’s not surprising that the 18-time Grand Slam champion has said that the magnificent vessel, which sleeps eight people in its four bedrooms, feels like his home.

The 33-year-old Nadal paid £2.6 million for the yacht in 2016 and was spotted relaxing on it in the Ibiza heat after losing to Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final the previous year. He is now selling the yacht via Camper & Nicholsons.

Beethoven, an MCY 76 model designed by Monte Carlo Yachts, can sail the seas at a top speed of 35 mph.

Nadal, who hails from the Balearic Island of Majorca and has an estimated net worth of £28 million, has always been surrounded by water and uses his boat to gain some quiet.

“To me, being on board the Monte Carlo Yacht 76 gives me the opportunity to get away when I want to get away,” he said to Barche magazine.

He claims that after visiting the 2013 Cannes Boat Show, he decided on the MCY 76. Nadal wanted a larger boat with a sleeker, more sporty, and more modern look because he had previously owned a Princess V62.

Beethoven was ordered by the 18-time Grand Slam champion with a striking deep Mediterranean-blue hull color, white topsides, a carbon-fiber flybridge hardtop, and a retractable sunroof.

He opted for a four-stateroom interior design, including a full-beam master bedroom, a forward VIP, and two twins. He used a lot of muted grays and soft beige for the upholstery in order to avoid disrupting the harmony.

The tennis player insisted on one specific feature: a ton of retractable TVs. He told Yachting that he occasionally stayed on board, adding, “I like to be on a sofa and watch TV in comfort.” With the home theater and two TVs, it’s amazing to me.

‘Rafa’s’ plans on what to do after Beethoven sells are unknown. It is improbable that he will upgrade to a yacht that is significantly bigger. It appears that only yachts up to 25 meters (82 feet) are permitted in his home port of Porto Cristo on Mallorca’s southeast coast.

Don’t be shocked if Nadal arrives in Porto Cristo on one of the brand-new MCY 80 yachts from Monte Carlo Yachts, which are ideal at 24.62 meters (80 feet) in length.

PERIOD OF PRIVACY

I enjoy spending time with others, but it also gives me the freedom to retreat when I need to and spend time alone or only with the individuals I want to.

That is crucial to my current way of life. I adore the sea and think I could live on it, so maybe one day I’ll spend a lot of time aboard; it’s a lifestyle I like.

Nadal, who has criticized Wimbledon officials for dropping him in the Wimbledon seeding, has acknowledged that the ship has a captain and that he is not in charge of it.

“I need a captain,” he continued. I can’t always be reached.

“I think this kind of yacht needs a captain.” I need someone to take care of everything because I’m gone for more than half the year.

Although the reason for Nadal’s decision to sell the yacht is unknown, rumors indicate that he may be considering an upgrade.

As he turned away from the water, Rafa couldn’t help but smile, knowing that the SuperYacht of Rafa Nadal would continue its journey, carrying with it the spirit of exploration, elegance, and the pursuit of greatness. And as long as there were dreams to be realized and seas to be conquered, Rafa Nadal would forever be intertwined with the timeless allure of the SuperYacht that bore his name.
