ROBERT DE NIRO SHARES RARE FAMILY MOMENT, SNUGGLING WITH 10-MONTH-OLD DAUGHTER GIA

Robert De Niro recently shared a rare glimpse into his personal life, showcasing his close bond with his 10-month-old daughter, Gia. In an exclusive photo obtained by Page Six, the 80-year-old “Goodfellas” star is seen affectionately cuddling Gia on his lap, gently resting his cheek on her head.

The heartwarming snapshot captures Gia sporting a delightful grin while dressed in a cute onesie adorned with musical squirrels. In an interview with People, De Niro expressed his adoration for his adorable daughter, stating, “She’s such an adorable baby. So sweet.”

The Oscar-winning actor humorously acknowledged the unique dynamic within his family, particularly with Gia being his seventh child, born when he was 79. De Niro shared that all the kids, including the grandkids, find great joy in their youngest family member. He jokingly remarked, “She’s their aunt — [and] they’re about to be teenagers!”

Aside from Gia, whom he welcomed in spring 2023 with girlfriend Tiffany Chen, De Niro is a father to Drena, 56, Raphael, 47, twins Julian and Aaron, 28, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 12. Tragically, he lost a grandchild, Drena’s son Leandro, to an accidental overdose at the age of 19 last year.

During an emotional interview with AARP last month, De Niro shared his deep connection with Gia, expressing how everything else fades away when he looks at her. He described the experience as “wondrous.”

In discussions about his family life with Chen and baby Gia, De Niro acknowledged stepping back from heavy lifting due to his age. He candidly admitted, “I’m there, I support my girlfriend. But she does the work,” emphasizing the importance of having assistance.

De Niro and Chen first became linked in 2021 after meeting on the set of his 2015 film “The Intern.” Their relationship blossomed over the years, leading to the birth of Gia in spring 2023. The veteran actor, known for films like “Killers of the Flower Moon,” was previously married to Diahnne Abbott from 1976 to 1988 and Grace Hightower from 1997 to 2018.
