Pop star Rihanna turned heads at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar on Friday night. Rihanna performed on the first day of the festivities and set the stage on fire with her energetic aura. On Saturday morning, Rihanna bid adieu to India and was spotted at the Jamnagar airport interacting with paparazzi.
In the viral videos doing rounds on the internet, Rihanna arrived in a car and answered a few questions posed by the paparazzi. She said, “I love India. The show was the best. I wanna come back.” At the airport, Rihanna carried a painting with “Thank You” written on it, a gift from the Ambanis. She also shared that this was her first live show in eight years.
The singer was all smiles as she posed with all the paparazzi stationed outside the airport. Rihanna was also seen holding hands with two female police officers and giving them a hug. She then called all the officers for a group photo, hugged them, and thanked them. Rihanna also held the hand of the female police officer as she entered the airport. When photographers requested for pictures with her, Rihanna readily agreed.
Fans on the internet praised Rihanna for her simplicity. One of the users wrote, “Very very sweet. Such a humble lady. Otherwise who takes picture like this with camera men.” Another said, “How cute.. how she held the police woman and walked with her at the end.”
During her performance on Friday, Rihanna congratulated Anant and Radhika. She said, “Thanks to the Ambani family, I’m here tonight in honor of Anant and Radhika’s wedding. Thank you for having me here. May God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations.”
Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kiara Advani among others are also attending the three-day festivities.
