Jennifer Garner was deeply moved to tears during her daughter’s graduation ceremony.
The 52-year-old actress shared her emotional reaction on Instagram, posting a series of teary-eyed selfies as she celebrated this important milestone in her daughter Violet Affleck’s life, whom she co-parents with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
In the photos, Garner is seen applauding proudly in the first image, visibly overwhelmed with emotion. The following pictures capture her wiping away tears and smiling at the camera, and later, on a plane, reflecting on the day’s events.
She also shared a video where she lifts her glasses to wipe more tears, asking, “How are we going to make it? What are we going to do?”
The last shot features her wearing transparent 2024 shades while posing for the camera.

In her caption, Garner wrote: “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. (bless our hearts…)”
The comments were filled with supportive messages, with many sharing their own experiences of watching their children grow up.

It is unclear whether Affleck attended the event to support his daughter, though he was also absent on Monday when Jennifer Lopez walked the red carpet at the premiere of her latest movie, Atlas.
Garner and Affleck share two other children, 15-year-old Fin Affleck and 11-year-old Samuel.
