However, to keep her mental health in check, Thomas doesn’t pay attention to comments on social media. She opened up about a time she posted her husband Phil Donahue’s picture with their granddaughter and people wrote, “Oh, he’s had surgery.”

Thomas dismissed the comments, revealing that her husband has not had surgery. She added, ” But people think if you look well, you have to have had plastic surgery — and that’s not true. But even if you did want to — go ahead!”

Mindy Schneider, a television writer, revealed in her memoir, “Not a Happy Camper” that her mom, wanted her to have a nose job done by the same doctor who did Thomas’.
Schneider recalled that her mom said Thomas, “had a nose job” done by Dr Silver on Madison Avenue. The writer’s mom added, “He gives everyone that little upturned nose. Makes ’em all look like shiksas. You’ll go to someone else. Yours will look real. I’m getting some names.”
